When do I need to RSVP by?
We kindly ask that you RSVP no later than March 1, 2025. This will allow us to get an accurate headcount for seats, drinks and transportation. If you have any questions or concerns about your RSVP, please do not hesitate to reach out to Rachael or Michael.
Are kids invited to attend?
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
Can I bring a plus one?
Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We promise it's nothing personal, but we can only accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation to ensure we have enough seats, treats and drinks for our closest family and friends.
Will transportation be provided?
Yes! We will be providing charter buses that will pick up our guests at the Oxford Suites Hotel promptly at 3:00 pm. The shuttles will bring guests back to the hotel at the end of the wedding reception.
When you RSVP, kindly let us know if you will be using our shuttles. This will help us ensure there are enough seats for everyone. Please note that due to limited space, we cannot accommodate those who opt out of using the shuttle in their RSVP.
Can I still drive?
Absolutely! There is plenty of parking available onsite. Cars will just need to be picked up by 9am on Sunday, May 4.
Can I take an Uber or Lyft to and from the venue?
Yes you can. Cell phone service can be a bit limited at the venue, but the venue does provide a Starlink system to help. It should be easy to get an Uber there, but it could be more challenging to call one when leaving. We suggest scheduling one to pick you up in advance.
What should I wear?
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Think cocktail dresses, suits and ties and sports coats. Please no jeans or flip flops.
While the ceremony and reception will not take place on grass, some parts of our venue are embracing the cobblestone chic vibe. We totally understand wanting to keep the shoe game strong, but we want you dancing, not tripping, so please plan accordingly.
What will the weather be like?
Hopefully really nice! We expect it to be warmer during the day, so bring those sunglasses. Chico typically cools down at night, so we suggest having a significant other with a jacket that you can steal for the evening.
Will the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception take place indoors or outdoors?
The entire day will be mainly outside. While the weather should be beautiful, we recommend checking closer to the date and bringing a sweater.
Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
We are having an unplugged ceremony and ask that you please keep your phones away and on silent. We have incredible photographers who will be capturing the entire ceremony. We promise they're experts in capturing our 'I do's' in all their glory.
Do you have any recommendations for where to eat, points of interest or things to do?
Yes we do! We've compiled a list of our top places in our favorite little town on the ‘Things to Do’ page of this website. Keep us posted on what you end up choosing to do!
Will there be an after party?
We aren't planning a wedding in Chico for no reason! We want to keep the celebrations going with our favorite people after the reception. While we don't have formal plans, we are hoping that those who feel up to it will join us Downtown for some fun! For those wishing to join us for some afterparty celebrations, the shuttles will make a final drop off in Downtown Chico.
